I have a starting issue with my 07 for the past several months. I spent conuntless hours looking on this forum and saw no mention of the Error code 12. Figured I would throw this in as I am sure that if I am having the issue(s)someone else out there is having/going thru the same thing.
Error code 12 is a malfunction in the crankshaft position sensor.. here is the service manual solution/fix to the problem….
12 Symptom -No normal signals are received from the crankshaft position 1) Installed condition of crankshaft position
• Main wire harness ECU coupler 3) Open or short circuit in wire harness.
