In celebration of its 60 years in the World Grand Prix (now known as the MotoGP), Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) has launched a limited version of the Sniper155 and its scooter Mio Aerox. The WGP-anniversary edition of the aforementioned scooter is equipped with 155 Blue Core engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) and Smart Motor Generator. Meanwhile, the WGP anniversary-version of the Yamaha Sniper, which was derived from the Sniper155R, is powered by a 155cc fuel-injected engine with VVA technology mated to a six-speed transmission with Assist and Slipper Clutch.

The new limited-edition models showcase Yamaha’s decades-long passion for racing and supersport excellence. Special Edition Celebrates 60th Anniversary of World Grand Prix Entry Yamaha’s new YZF-R7, which is set to be released in Japan around the end of 2021, has been unveiled in Europe and North America in white and red speed block colors for the 2022 model year.
